Our Anti-Fog Window Films Can Help To Tackle Condensation

Our Anti-Fog Window Films Can Help To Tackle Condensation

Window condensation is one of those things that we all have to deal with from time to time. We may wake up on a morning before work and find our car windshield misted up, forcing us to turn on the demisters… or you may have to wipe your bathroom mirror to even see yourself when brushing your teeth.
Nor is condensation just a problem in the domestic space. If you have responsibility for a swimming pool or sauna, for instance, you may have similar issues with glass enclosures becoming misted up, or if you run a retail store or supermarket, the condensation on your shop window or refrigerated display cabinets can be less than convenient.

Our Anti-Fog Window Films Can Help To Tackle Condensation

Say goodbye to misted-up glazing

What is the answer to such problems with condensation? Anti-Fog Window Films like those we provide here at Stockfilms could certainly be useful.

Our anti-fog window films are available in both 100-micron and 50-micron form, and incorporate a special anti-condensation layer that is designed to spread water across the surface of the glazing to which it is applied.

The result can be much-improved visibility for the benefit of both you and anyone else using the glass surface, helped further by the film’s clear and non-tinted nature.

Whichever of our anti-fog window films you choose, it can be applied to most types of glass. Installation is also quick, which makes it a viable alternative to the disruptive and expensive large-scale replacement of existing glazing. During the installation process itself, a protective liner on the face of the film also guards against it becoming scratched.

Experience our anti-fog window films for yourself

Our anti-fog window films can also screen Ultra-Violet (UV) rays to reduce fading to your home, office or other workplace’s interior furnishings. In addition, they are scratch resistant in the face of most non-abrasive window cleaning methods.

However, while our anti-fog window films have helped a wide range of customers to preserve visibility in their home, business or other property’s windows or mirrors, it is also important to note that many factors can cause condensation.

This is why we recommend that the user performs an in-situ trial with the product prior to purchasing. Simply call the Stockfilms team today, on 020 8441 0449, for a quote and to try out our anti-fog Window Films so that you can be sure of them being the right solution for you. What You Need to Know about Life Insurance

What You Need to Know about Life Insurance

Planning your financial future is an effort you must take seriously at any age. A diversified approach is the safest and smartest way to cover all your bases, and life insurance is one aspect that deserves serious consideration. In this day and age, there are many options for your life insurance in Greenville, SC.

Start early

What You Need to Know about Life Insurance

When you are young, it can feel as if nothing is going to happen to you and that life insurance is a cost that you can not achieve at this stage in life. This is the stage of life, however, where the death of a loved one can be the most financially devastating. Most people are unprepared for this kind of financial problems, so having some coverage in the case of tragedy is very important to bounce back. You do not want to leave your loved one with undue financial burden, so life insurance is a must. What You Need to Know about Life Insurance

Consider Your Needs

When looking at life insurance options, there are several factors that should arise for discussion. Your family’s living standards, funeral expenses, income reimbursement, and overall financial situation should be a key factor in your decision.

For example, a couple with double income and no children living in a modest home can get a smaller policy than a home-based parent of 5 children who depend on partner income. If the death of a loved one happens, the last thing you want to worry about is how you will get financially, and a good life insurance policy allows you to focus on the grieving process instead.

Type of Life Insurance What You Need to Know about Life Insurance

The 2 main categories of life insurance options are whole life (or permanent) and time period. Term policies are set to cover a certain period of time, where a lifetime policy is good until you die, even if you live more than 100 years. Each type has its pros and cons, and the decision to be chosen is up to you, based on your needs and preferences.

All life is a general term that covers different types of policies. Universal life, universal variables, and overall traditional life are 3 general types, and each has variations depending on your specific policy. All traditional life involves a fixed amount that the recipients will receive, but other options are good for people who do not want to pay the same amount for the rest of their lives. By submitting a guaranteed amount, you can get life insurance related to other investments, whether it is stock investment, bonds, or money market investments. This can result in a higher rate of return but also represents more risk. This type of policy is great for people who want to combine insurance coverage with investments (a good way to diversify your financial portfolio).

Term policy is straight insurance without investment. Premiums increase with age, and policies can generally be updated from time to time. This is great for people who want coverage in the case of tragedy but want to invest in other media.

Tips to Get the Most Out of Your Life Insurance

Looking at life insurance in Greenville, SC, it can feel great at first. There are many choices, and death is not something people want to consider. The alternative, however, can destroy families, so it is best to take a deep breath and recruit some professional help. Take a good look at your financial situation and determine how much you really need, and explore your options until you find them that fit your needs and your family.

Keeps the pennywort from the Galapagos Islands

Keeps the pennywort from the Galapagos Islands

The Galapagos Islands wildlife is the most unique species in the world. At that time in the archipelago, off the coast of South America, the naturalist Charles Darwin based his research which later became his “Theory of Evolution”.
Currently the archipelago is a popular place for ecotourism, with wildlife cruises in the Galapagos often sitting at the top of the list of nature lovers desires. However, apart from – and, in some cases, because – the remote geographic position of the island, many species face a serious threat to their survival, and some are extinct. Keeps the pennywort from the Galapagos Islands

The ground birds in the archipelago are a declining group, the most prominent being the Finches Darwin (which are actually 15 separate species) – so named as their “light bulbs” in Darwin’s theory of natural selection. Keeps the pennywort from the Galapagos Islands

Saving the Land Bird

The Charles Darwin Research Institute (CDRI) in Santa Cruz, is a site that is in the travel plans of every wildlife voyage in the Galapagos. Their precious works are essential to the preservation of wildlife archipelago, and one of their many projects is focused on controlling the parasitic flies endangering Finches Darwin.

Philornis Downsi is an introduced species, whose larvae live and eat children from finch chicks, causing many to die in their nests. Ectoparasites are also believed to be responsible for the decline of other poultry species.

Philornis Project

Research conducted by CDRI begins with attempts to enlarge the Philornis larvae downsi in the laboratory, without the help of a poultry host. This difficult task is achieved for the first time by a dedicated undergraduate thesis student, although increasing the number of flies in large quantities required for research purposes continues to cause problems.

Researchers from the CDRI went to Panama to observe the work of the Missile Defensive Maintenance Program, where millions of “sterile” flies were produced regularly to help the project to eradicate invasive caterpillars. The researchers can transfer what they get from this very successful project and apply it to very positive results.

Although CDRI flies are bred in greater numbers because of the team’s achievements to improve some of Panama’s project techniques, making flies into regular marriage still proves a challenge. However, there is a large and dedicated team working on this project, and they are confident they will reach a solution.

Learning more about fly biology is essential for the next step in the program to develop successful methods for controlling the numbers. Once a regular breeding program is conducted, research on flies management effectively will provide a major step forward in the conservation of the domestic birds.

Small Project Makes a Big Difference

For anyone planning a wildlife voyage in the Galapagos, understanding CDR’s vital work will offer greater insight into this incredible world and the challenges it faces. The ongoing Philornis project is just one example of how seemingly small conservation projects have the potential to make a big difference to the archipelagic ecology.

Guide to Three Valleys: Our Favorite Ski Resort

Guide to Three Valleys: Our Favorite Ski Resort

Three Valleys is one of the best ski destinations in the world. Properly named, the region includes three valleys on the Tarentaise, which hosts eight individual resorts. With over 200 lifts and about 600km pistes to explore, Three Valleys is popular among visitors from around the world. Whether you are a novice skier or a sensation seeker, this resort has something for you. But with so many amazing resorts to choose from, how do you make a decision about where to spend your winter break?
Méribel

Méribel resort is divided into two parts. The beautiful and traditional village of Méribel is one of the more attractive French resorts, with many self-catering and catered ski huts to choose from. Higher above the valley, Méribel-Mottaret offers more ski-in skiing comforts to its inhabitants, but with aesthetic cost. Wherever you live, however, Méribel really offers something for everyone. The resort has a large selection of green, blue and red lines, with fantastic access to the rest of Three Valleys. Guide to Three Valleys: Our Favorite Ski Resort

La Tania

La Tania has a good reputation as a family resort that offers good value for money. The self-service and catered ski lodge at the base of the slope is perfect for those who do not want to carry heavy exercise equipment. Above the village, the trees provide a wonderful atmosphere for beginners to face easy green runs. Views of après in La Tania are limited, but Pub Le Ski Lodge regularly hosts live bands and offers happy hour daily.

St. Martin de Belleville

This small village exudes a relaxed and pleasant alpine atmosphere. Sitting in the sun loungers down the valley from Les Menuires, St. Martin de Belleville is a traditional mountain resort with bar, restaurant and self-service ski lodge and catered at the bottom of the central runway. Chairlifts provide quick and easy access to Les Menuires and over the ridge to Méribel, so this resort is perfect for middle skiers. If you like partying, you may want to go elsewhere, because après landscape does not exist in this lonely village.

Val Thorens

At 2300m altitude, Val Thorens provides snow-peak conditions throughout the year. Beginners can access free nursery slopes from the village center, with experienced skiers who benefit from a variety of different slopes. The only downside of the resort at this altitude is that there is little shelter in if the weather is badly set. Pistes Val Thorens sits atop a tree line, and a true ski purifier will not fail to appreciate the incredible path it has to offer.

Les Menuires

Unlike the rest of the Three Valleys, visitors to Les Menuires are predominantly French, so staying here will ensure a more authentic French experience. Architecturally it is not the most attractive resort, with concrete apartment blocks dominating the horizon in the village. But the 160 km pistes test will help medium and advanced skiers, who also benefit from easy access to Méribel with the Three Valleys lift lanes. Beginners are not forgotten – there are special nurseries that run to help them hone their skills in peace. Unless the snow is nice, however, they may struggle to find enough blues that are easy to continue.

Wherever You Choose …

Whichever resort you choose in Three Valleys, it is important to choose the type of accommodation that best suits you. Three Valleys has a fantastic selection of self-catering and catered ski lodges, so you can choose the best option to suit your budget and needs. Whatever you choose, a trip to Three Valleys skiing must be a vacation of a lifetime.

Discover Ireland’s Grand Canal on a Barge Cruise

Discover Ireland’s Grand Canal on a Barge Cruise

For your next holiday, take a barge cruise down the Grand Canal and travel from Dublin to Shannon to discover all Ireland has to offer. You can admire the gorgeous green countryside and delightful little cottages that line the waterway, while diving into its interesting and intricate history as a commercial route which allowed the surrounding towns to prosper.
Length and Route

The Grand Canal in Ireland extends for 117 kilometres. Passing through Leinster, it flows from Ringsend in Dublin to the Shannon Harbour in County Offaly. This is the main route, built to connect the capital city with the country’s midlands. The waterway does also have another run that spreads from Lowtown in Couty Kildare to the River Barrow in Athy. There are also various branches that link up with four other towns, though it’s worth mentioning that your barge cruise will probably stick to the main route.

Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views of Irish towns and villages with their charming little cottages, while admiring the many bridges that arch over the smooth water. The fauna and flora also remain untouched, with grassy towpaths and side roads lining the waterway and adding to the iconic Irish countryside feel.

History of the Grand Canal

Though the canal was closed to commercial traffic in the mid-twentieth century, it has since been restored to its former glory and regularly welcomes a variety of boats and barge cruises. It still features the original 43 locks, five of which are, from an engineering point of view, particularly interesting as they are double locks. Back in the day, these would have allowed the traffic to move faster as two boats can pass at once and there’s more chance of reaching a lock that’s in your favour. The lock-keepers’ cottages have also been refurbished to celebrate the history of this canal…

Relationship with The Guinness Factory

…And what a history it is! The Grand Canal played a crucial role in the creation and development of the Guinness factory. In 1759, two years after the construction of the canal began, Arthur Guinness founded his famous brewery. Thanks to the waterway, he could transport heavy loads of the raw materials he needed far more cheaply and effectively than by road. It was also an ideal way of exporting his finished product. When you pass through the eighth lock on a barge cruise, keep your eyes peeled for the Guinness filter beds which are still used by Arthur’s company today.

Impact of the Famine

In the first half of the nineteenth century, Ireland’s economy began to fail. As people lost their jobs, the Commission for Public Works set them to work on creating the canal. This was a successful scheme until the potato crops failed and the Great Famine broke out. Work had to be halted as labour became scarce. Eventually, trade and commerce on the canal declined, particularly as the construction of the railroads had just started.

By the 1980s, the Grand Canal had become something of a dumping ground. Thankfully, in 1986 it received a funding injection that sought to rejuvenate the canal and restore it to its former glory. Today boat traffic from barge cruises has increased and thousands are able to enjoy this historic waterway.

First wooden free-form houses Museum of Bread!

First wooden free-form houses Museum of Bread!

COOP HIMMELB(L)AU designed PANEUM – Wunderkammer des Brotes is the first wooden building in free form!
Meticulously planned, this customer information centre and event forum for the company Backaldrin in Asten, Austria, is an iconic structure comprising two elements: a box-shaped plinth building with foyer and event rooms that can be used for a variety of presentations, receptions or workshops for up to 120 visitors and the Wunderkammer des Brotes (Museum of Bread), a two-storey freeform exhibition area floating on top. The square base building shows a cast-in-place concrete façade while the rounded wood structure of the museum is clad with stainless steel shingles.

A centrally chiselled circular atrium is at once the cynosure of all eyes as it is flanked by a robust spiral staircase that invites visitors to pause awhile and take in the exhibited items from various perspectives. The stair provides access to the two exhibition levels, where the objects are displayed with the help of walls, tables, and cabinets that are integrated into the architecture. It further allows for striking vertical displays that take on a chandelier-like appearance, adding on to the visual appeal of the commanding building. The raw aesthetic of the interior is augmented by its self-supporting wood shell with its layers of cross-laminated timber and the natural light that filters in from above the atrium. This method of construction enables the realization of the free form and the high degree of prefabrication with 3D CNC technology that is precision-driven and cuts valuable construction time. It is a step into the future of construction; as Design Principal, COOP HIMMELB(L)AU, Wolf D. Prix says, “3D plotting, 3D milling and building with robots – that is the future of building.”

Useful Tricks to Make Little Sorrow Look Bigger

Useful Tricks to Make Little Sorrow Look Bigger

The size of a male organ has long been the target of male anxiety. Men across the world look at the next guy and wonder if he’s bigger, and they’ll do almost anything to increase the size of their organs, in the hope that one day they’ll be the biggest in the room. But small members are not a matter of true maturity – this is something that gives men the opportunity to learn more about other ways to please a woman, and that can be a big bonus for both partners. In addition to excellent member care to keep the equipment looking top-notch, men who are really worried about the size of their male organs can try this trick to make small maturity look bigger.
1) Pay attention to manscaping. When maturity is overwhelmed by the wealth of hair, it will naturally look much smaller than it really is. By combing little hair or shaving at all, no one can obscure the proud male organ, and that can make it look much bigger.

Useful Tricks to Make Little Sorrow Look Bigger

2) Lose weight. Speaking of ingesting maturity, it may occur on excess skin as well. When a man gains weight, he usually wears some around the members, in areas known as fat pads. These fats accumulate and transcend the base of maturity, so it appears that the male organ is actually smaller. By losing weight, a man can regain some of that loss, allowing his members to stand out in all his glory.

3) Consider the line tan. If a man has dark chocolate everywhere but the middle part, it will change the perception of the eye about how it looks. The lighter-colored area looks a little smaller than it should be, thanks to this light trick. So if a man has heavy chocolate, he may want to consider a little chocolate in the lower area as well, to get rid of that brown line. On the other hand, men with very good skin may want to avoid tan tan by all means, so that the color remains the same throughout his body.

4) Use the appropriate barrier protector. A man can not go wrong with latex protection that makes little maturity look much bigger. This can be achieved with barrier protection that has light colors, such as yellow or white, as they will make members more prominent than dark-colored latex devices. He can also search for tools with buttons, backs or other fun textures, as this also adds a bit to the look.

5) Warm things. Before becoming agile, a man can forgive himself into the bathroom and use a very warm cloth as a compress on the area of adulthood and surroundings. This encourages more blood flow and opens blood vessels, which makes members appear larger at first glance. And of course, a man knows how important the first view of the couple!

No matter the size of a man, attention to good member care is a sure way to keep maturity looking good. This can be achieved with top-grade head health (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven to be mild and safe for the skin), applied daily as a whole routine of careful members. Look for crème that contains vitamin E and Shea butter for hydration, preventing dry skin that can make maturity look tired and wear out. Also look for crème with vitamin A, because this vitamin is known against the odor of a male organ – and maturity issues such as odors can ruin a pleasant evening, no matter the size of a man. Finally, a man should look for crème with a good combination of antioxidants, nutrients and amino acids, all of which increase blood flow and improve the health of better members.
